Astrology is an ancient cross-cultural, archetypal psychology that connects us to archival resources of the human psyche. It reveals to us the NATURAL ORDER, a deeper connection to spirit, and the the path to more harmonious community living. Most importantly, astrological knowledge helps us recognize and appreciate our uniqueness within the spectrum of human diversity and realize our potential.

We live and work in groups. At best, these groups systems support and enrich our lives. To often, they contain challenging or even destructive relationships that threaten to overwhelm our patience, sensitivity, and skill.
Using astrological tools honed through 25 years of counseling and consultation, Arifa Boehler helps us transform group situations into opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.
The NATURAL ORDER consulting process begins with each member having an individual session during which self-knowledge and self-acceptance are given a very palpable language.
Then working within the group context, each member understands his/her uniqueness in relation to others.

The objectivity of the astrological vantage point
is very useful in understanding the dynamics of family systems- helping parents with the challenging task of raising children.
The parents' astrological charts, individual and relationship, provide clarity and understanding of the family environment. Interpreting the charts of the children helps parents understand:

As a result of group work:

  • Members are empowered to accept their differences and similarities and are able to function more effectively as a group.

  • Group leaders develop an ability to delegate more responsibly and effectively.

  • Members work together more cohesively.

  • Conflicts and difficulties within the group are more readily resolved.

    Interpreting the charts
of the children helps parents understand:

  • what educational setting would be most appropriate for the child

  • what interventions work best various developmental stages and

  • what adults can do to help children cope with family dynamics or a crisis.

In schools and other educational settings, Arifa consults with teams of teachers, special educators, parents, and therapists to help sort out the issues affecting a child's development.

Adults gain vital understanding of the child's learning style, identify supportive educational approaches, and pinpoint underlying forces that may cause difficulty in school. In addition, they make important progress toward understanding themselves in relation to the child.

When a group requires in-depth psychological awareness or wants to develop an understanding of group process, Arifa works in collaboration with Alexandra Merrill who has been doing group work for 30 years. Together they offer long-term group consultations and 5-day residential retreats for the study of astrology and process.

Arifa consults with groups of two to six individuals, and collaborates with others to work with larger groups. After initial individual sessions, group work begins with a two to six-hour session in which participants explore current group dynamics.

Subsequent meetings allow for in-depth work on interpersonal relationships, examination of special concerns, such as the addition of a new person or people to a team, helping a new venture get off to a productive start, or matching qualifications with a job descriptions.
Arifa develops a proposal and an estimate for a process tailored to your group's goals and concerns.
